Aeroméxico has announced the launch of direct flights from Mexico City’s Aeropuerto Internacional Benito Juárez to Phoenix, effective March 30. The announcement was made through a post on the airline’s official X account.
In collaboration with Delta Air Lines, Aeroméxico began daily nonstop flights between Mexico City International Airport (MEX) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) on March 30, 2025. This marks the airline’s return to Phoenix after more than ten years. The route will be serviced by Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
The flight schedule includes departures from Mexico City at 9:55 a.m., arriving in Phoenix at 12:25 p.m., with return flights leaving Phoenix at 1:51 p.m. and landing back in Mexico City at 6:00 p.m. This service will provide over 2,300 seats per week between the two cities.
According to Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, demand for flights between Phoenix and Mexico has increased by 155% compared to pre-pandemic levels, highlighting the importance of Aeroméxico’s new service in addressing this demand.
