Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of daily nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Monterrey, Mexico. The new service, which began on February 13, is part of the airline’s initiative to enhance travel connections between the U.S. West Coast and northern Mexico.
According to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Monterrey is a key economic hub in Mexico, home to major industries such as manufacturing, technology, and finance. Its growing business sector and cultural attractions make it a strategic destination for increased air travel, further enhancing the demand for the new daily nonstop flights.
Alaska Airlines has been steadily expanding its service to Mexico. Monterrey is now its fifth destination in the country. The airline also operates flights to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, and Los Cabos, thereby strengthening its presence in the region.
Based in Seattle, Alaska Airlines is one of the largest carriers in the United States. It operates a fleet of over 300 aircraft and serves more than 120 destinations across North America. The company places a strong emphasis on customer service and expanding its route network.
