American Express introduces bonus for Blue Business® Plus Credit Card

0Comments

The Blue Business® Plus Credit Card from American Express now features an initial bonus offer. Historically, the card has rarely included such offers. “Frankly, the card is too good, and extra points should get you to pay attention,” the source states.

The new upfront offer allows users to earn 15,000 Membership Rewards® points after spending $3,000 in eligible purchases within the first three months of Card Membership. Additionally, it remains a no-annual-fee card (see rates and fees).

What sets this card apart is its ability to earn two Membership Rewards points on all purchases up to $50,000 annually. This makes it highly beneficial for unbonused spend. The earned points are transferable and can be moved to various partners across different alliances:

– Star Alliance: Air Canada, ANA, Avianca, Singapore
– oneworld: British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Iberia, Qantas, Qatar
– SkyTeam: Aeromexico, Air France KLM, Delta, Virgin Atlantic
– Non-alliance: Aer Lingus, Emirates, Etihad, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue
– Hotels: Choice Hotels International Inc., Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc., Marriott International Inc.

“I always say you should never earn just one mile per dollar,” the source emphasizes. The card allows spending up to $50,000 while earning two points per dollar without needing specific categories like travel or dining.
