Eclipse Aviation, the manufacturer of the Eclipse 500 very light jet (VLJ), has faced numerous challenges throughout its history. Under its new ownership, Eclipse Aerospace maintained existing model fleets and introduced upgrades like the Total Eclipse refurbished models while developing a successor named the Eclipse 550.
