Etihad Airways has launched a revamped digital experience for its website and mobile application. The airline, based in Abu Dhabi, introduced a new look featuring a dark color palette with white and gold accents. This update aims to enhance user-friendliness alongside the aesthetic changes.

The updated website now features a new menu on the left-hand side of the screen, designed to be easily accessible without distracting from the main content. Flight booking and management options are prominently displayed at the top of the homepage, along with information about Etihad’s destinations to inspire travelers.

Frank Meyer from Etihad commented on this development: “At Etihad, we are constantly evolving and innovating the digital experience in line with customer preferences and industry trends. In our commitment to innovation and improvement, we will continue to go beyond expectations by delivering a more personalized and seamless online experience for our guests.”

The redesign also emphasizes enhanced digital self-service options to make user experiences easier and more personalized. These include pre-populated data, an improved seat map, and streamlined access to travel extras for quicker check-ins.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, stated: “We’ve completely redesigned the digital experience ensuring that our guests enjoy engaging with us from the very first touch of a screen until reaching their destination and beyond. Furthermore, we’ve made sure our valued Etihad Guest members can enjoy the benefits of a more personalized experience now conveniently in the app or website.”

The mobile app has been redesigned similarly for consistency across platforms. Available on both Apple iOS and Android devices, it serves as a digital travel assistant providing real-time updates like gate changes.

Etihad has also improved integration of its loyalty program within its digital platforms. Loyalty members can now manage their accounts more efficiently by adding travel documents, viewing trips, tracking tier status, selecting benefits, and managing miles all from one location.
