FedEx Corporation announced on Mar. 9 the launch of FedEx Surround, a new solution offering real-time shipment monitoring and predictive analytics for customers in Poland.

The introduction of FedEx Surround is part of the company’s ongoing digital transformation efforts, aiming to provide advanced logistics tools that help businesses manage risk and maintain supply chain integrity. The service allows clients to track key shipments almost in real time, receive early alerts about potential delays due to weather or other events, and access round-the-clock support from FedEx experts who can prioritize, recover, or reroute deliveries as needed.

“FedEx Surround in Poland is another element of our strategy to deliver intelligent, data-driven logistics solutions to customers,” said Mariusz Mik, Vice President Operations Nordics and Eastern Europe at FedEx. “Real-time monitoring and predictive analytics enable companies to effectively manage risk and maintain supply chain integrity in ways that were previously difficult to achieve. It’s more than technology – it’s real support and peace of mind for our customers.”

The service offers three levels—Select, Preferred, and Premium—each providing different degrees of visibility, proactive monitoring, and support tailored for industries such as medical, aerospace, automotive, and modern technologies. These features are designed to ensure timely delivery and protection of sensitive international shipments.

FedEx Surround operates with the expertise of FedEx Dataworks—a platform focused on transforming physical package movement into actionable real-time intelligence. The Krakow-based team develops data platforms and machine learning models that integrate the physical and digital networks of FedEx. “Modern logistics is an intelligent ecosystem that predicts, optimizes, and informs,” said Katarzyna Osuch-Bukowska, director at FedEx Dataworks. “The team in Krakow co-creates technologies that turn data from the global FedEx network into practical real-time decisions for our customers.”

FedEx employs hundreds of thousands of team members worldwide who are committed to outstanding customer experiences according to the official website.
