FedEx Express Corporation will serve as the official delivery provider for the NFL game scheduled to take place in Madrid in 2025. This event marks the first time an official regular season NFL game will be held in Spain, with the Miami Dolphins facing the Washington Commanders at Estadio Bernabéu on November 16, 2025. The matchup is part of the NFL’s International Games calendar for 2025, which includes seven games across five countries outside the United States: Spain, Ireland, Germany, Brazil, and the United Kingdom.

FedEx’s involvement goes beyond logistics. Elisabete Silva, a FedEx team member, has been selected to deliver the official game ball at Estadio Bernabéu. This act symbolizes FedEx’s mission to “deliver what matters most,” according to company representatives.

“In FedEx, we are passionate about connecting people with new opportunities, and bringing the NFL to Spain is a unique occasion to share this sport’s excitement with new fans,” said Ian Silverton, Managing Director Ground Operations Iberia at FedEx. “It also reinforces our commitment to elite sports and unforgettable experiences. Our team drives daily excellence at our company, and selecting one of our employees to deliver the official ball recognizes their dedication.”

FedEx has partnered globally with the NFL since 2000. In the United States, it supports initiatives such as “FedEx Air and Ground Players of the Week,” which acknowledges top offensive players each week through charitable donations made in their names. To date, these contributions total nearly $3 million.

The company also sponsors other major sporting events worldwide as part of its strategy to combine logistical expertise with support for global sports.
