FedEx has been named among the top 50 companies in Fortune’s first-ever AIQ 50 ranking. The list recognizes organizations across different industries that are leading in adopting artificial intelligence and have demonstrated measurable results from these efforts.
FedEx was the only company from the Mail, Package, and Freight Delivery Industry to receive this distinction. According to the company, this recognition reflects its ongoing focus on innovation and using AI to optimize supply chains, enhance customer experiences, and build trust.
The Fortune AIQ 50 is determined using ServiceNow’s Enterprise AI Maturity Index. This index measures how ready organizations are to implement and expand AI capabilities, considering factors such as governance, data infrastructure, automation, and workflows. To compile the list, Fortune collaborated with Enterprise Technology Research (ETR) to assess how Fortune 500 firms use AI and how technology leaders evaluate those investments compared to their peers. These findings were combined into a single AIQ score for each company.
“FedEx is committed to staying at the forefront of delivering smarter solutions that move the world forward,” a statement from the company said.
