FedEx played a key role in the 26th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta by transporting over 20,000 pounds of hot air balloons and drones from regions including Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and the United States. The event was held at New Clark City in Tarlac from February 13 to 15, 2026.
Maribeth Espinosa, managing director of FedEx Philippines, said: “The Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is all about imagination taking flight, and we’re proud that FedEx helped make that magic possible. Our global network, specialized freight solutions, and skilled teams ensured that more than 20,000 pounds of oversized balloons and drones moved safely across multiple continents and arrived on time in perfect condition. This is the reliability and precision our customers rely on every day.”
FedEx used advanced freight solutions such as detailed load planning and specialized handling for irregularly shaped shipments to ensure efficient movement through its network. The company’s operations teams and infrastructure supported the timely delivery required for this international aviation event.
