Hyatt has expanded its presence in Panama with the opening of a new resort, Hotel La Compania del Valle, located in El Valle de Anton. This Tuscan-inspired countryside retreat is part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection and marks the second collaboration between La Compania Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt.

The resort currently offers 40 guest rooms and suites, with plans to expand to 70 by May 2025. Each room features private balconies or terraces, modern amenities like four-poster beds and 55-inch TVs, as well as mountain views. The hotel is situated within an extinct volcanic crater, providing guests with picturesque surroundings.

An 18,000-square-foot Elysium Spa will open in May, offering wellness treatments including chocolate- and wine-based therapies. Guests can also enjoy activities such as hiking, e-biking, horseback riding, tennis, pickleball, and exploring a sculpture park on the property.

Dining at the hotel revolves around three themes: fire, earth, and wind. Executive Chef Patrice Jaumon leads the culinary team across three restaurants: Terra (Mediterranean and vegetarian), Fuego (open-flame cuisine), and Tempo (international dishes).

Hotel La Compania del Valle offers cash rates starting at $325 per night. As a Category 5 World of Hyatt hotel, award bookings range from 17,000 to 23,000 points per night.
