JetBlue Mosaic members can now match their status with four major airlines: Flying Blue, Alaska Airlines MVP, AAdvantage on American Airlines, and Southwest Airlines A-list. The benefits of these status matches include accelerated earn rates, priority check-in and boarding, access to lounges, and complimentary seating upgrades.
To complete a status match, members must follow specific steps and requirements for each airline. These may involve paying applicable fees and providing proof of elite status. JetBlue Airways operates over 1,000 daily flights serving destinations across the US and Europe. The New York-based carrier recently dropped two cross-country routes from Los Angeles International Airport. JetBlue is known for its cabin comforts in economy class and its loyalty program called JetBlue TrueBlue.
Air France’s Flying Blue offers a 12-month benefit period after status matching with JetBlue Mosaic. Introduced in 2005, Flying Blue has 20 million members worldwide. For the status match process, members must log onto the online portal of the Flying Blue program and pay an applicable fee ($99 for Silver or $299 for Gold). Benefits include accelerated earning rates, priority check-in and boarding, and access to SkyTeam lounges for Gold members.
