The Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen2 is the newer version of the latest and currently the most popular jet in the manufacturer’s Citation Jets lineup. The newer version was revealed in February 2021 with new lighting, enhanced passenger comfort, and a lower point of entry.
The aircraft is powered by two Williams FJ44 engines, each producing 3,600 lbf (16.1 kN) of takeoff thrust. The CJ4 competes with the Embraer Phenom 300 in terms of capacity, performance, and fuel efficiency. In April 2023, the manufacturer delivered its 400th CJ4 aircraft.
