Sheltair Aviation has commenced construction on a new T-hangar complex at Melbourne Orlando International Airport (KMLB), expanding its Fixed Base Operator (FBO) network's hangar facilities. The structure, spanning over 34,500 square feet, will house 30 T-hangars designed to accommodate single and light twin aircraft. Situated on nearly 4.5 acres of apron space, the complex will also feature 37 passenger-vehicle parking spaces and two restrooms.

"The ability to accommodate an additional 30 smaller aircraft with new T-hangar facilities will be an invaluable asset to our Melbourne operation," said Todd Anderson, Chief Operating Officer of Sheltair. "As the region’s businesses thrive, so does the airport. We’re dedicated to meeting its needs every step of the way."

The hangar complex will be located adjacent to the airfield’s control tower and offer easy access to Sheltair’s FBO terminal. The project is expected to take approximately 15 months to complete. Interested parties are encouraged to contact Amanda Herx, Property Manager, for leasing information.
