Avfuel has announced that C.R. Sincock, II, Executive Vice President for Avfuel and President and CEO of its sister company Avflight, has been elected to serve a second term as a board member for the National Air Transportation Association (NATA). The three-year appointment was made official during NATA’s annual meeting on June 25.

Sincock's reappointment is seen as an honor, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the aviation industry. In his role as a board member, Sincock brings operational and logistical expertise and provides guidance on initiatives central to Avfuel and Avflight’s values, including sustainability advancements in aviation.

“It’s an honor to continue to serve the industry and partner with experts across business aviation dedicated to furthering NATA’s mission,” said Sincock. “The work NATA accomplishes on behalf of our industry is pivotal for the continued growth of aviation and the connections it facilitates globally.”

Since his initial appointment in 2021, Sincock has focused on technology enhancements to improve customer experience, international expansion, and introducing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) into the marketplace.

Sincock graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College with an A.B. in economics and earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 2013. Outside the energy sector, he is the founding investor and senior strategic advisor at Kriya Therapeutics, a gene therapy company developing long-term cures for chronic diseases.

NATA represents nearly 3,700 aviation businesses and provides various services to general aviation, airlines, and the military. It also serves as a public policy group representing aviation businesses' interests before Congress and federal agencies.
