British Airways and Chase have launched the "Luggage Tagged Sweepstakes," offering one million Avios and a custom luggage set to five winners. The sweepstakes, exclusive to British Airways Executive Club members in the US aged 18 and up, runs until August 27th. Entrants can participate daily via the official sweepstakes webpage.

The giveaway commemorates 30 years since the introduction of the British Airways Visa Signature credit card in the United States. Oliver Currell, Head of Joint Business & Partnerships at IAG Loyalty, stated: “With the Luggage Tagged Sweepstakes, we’re encouraging Executive Club members to expand their horizons, redeem their Avios and explore the world with British Airways and the oneworld Alliance. It showcases our commitment as a global airline to connect our customers with the world and provide unmatched value.”

The grand prize includes one million Avios, valued at $10,000 according to British Airways, which can be used for travel on various airlines worldwide. Winners will also receive a custom luggage set designed by UK creator Hannah King. Existing British Airways Visa Signature cardmembers will receive an additional entry for each daily entry submitted.

In addition to British Airways, other IAG flag carriers such as Iberia of Spain and Ireland's Aer Lingus also use Avios as their reward currency. These airlines' cobranded credit cards currently offer increased sign-up bonuses of 85,000 Avios.
