GeoBreeze Travel recently interviewed Ben Lipsey, head of Air France KLM Flying Blue. Meanwhile, Delta Airlines faces scrutiny over claims that employees were seen wearing pro-terrorist pins on their uniforms, despite company policy prohibiting political statements.

CNN anchor Kasie Hunt highlighted a little-known aspect of airline policies regarding the Contract of Carriage. On other routes, Alaska Airlines is expanding its point-to-point leisure routes to Mexico, with new destinations including EGE. These seasonal routes will be operated using different aircraft types, including the E175 and 737 models.

United Airlines has applied for one of the new ‘beyond perimeter’ slot exemptions at Washington National Airport created by the FAA Reauthorization bill. They seek to operate a second non-stop flight to San Francisco. However, their application is weakened by proposing a flight time that does not comply with the new slot regulations.

In another incident, a TSA agent faces up to five years in jail after making two bomb hoaxes at Tulsa International Airport. This comes as TSA screeners received raises up to 31%, reportedly improving job satisfaction.
