dnata, a global air and travel services provider, has been awarded a multi-year contract by British Airways at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) in the United States. The agreement will see dnata provide inflight catering services to the UK’s flag carrier on its flights to London Heathrow Airport (LHR). Under this contract, dnata’s teams will produce and uplift 150,000 meals annually for the airline’s twice-daily flights.

The new contract expands the long-standing partnership between dnata and British Airways, now covering five cities in the USA: Boston, Dallas, Houston, Nashville, and Newark.

Including British Airways, dnata provides catering and retail services to 40 airline customers at 12 airports with a team of more than 1,000 hospitality professionals throughout the US. In the financial year 2023-24, dnata Catering & Retail teams uplifted more than 9.8 million meals in the country, representing over 9% growth year over year.

dnata’s catering and retail division is one of the world’s leading inflight hospitality providers. The company’s 10,500 catering professionals produce over 110 million meals annually from more than 60 locations worldwide.
