Jimmy Buffett, a renowned musician with over 30 albums and nine platinum records, also had a notable passion for aviation. With a net worth exceeding $1 billion, Buffett's success extended beyond music into various business ventures, including investments in the Margaritaville restaurant and hotel chain.

Buffett owned several aircraft throughout his life, ranging from Dassault to Boeing models. Among these was a Dassault Falcon 900EX, registered as N990FL, which he sold before acquiring a Dassault Falcon 7X (N957X). He previously owned other Dassault aircraft such as the Falcon 900 (N908JB) and the Falcon 50 (N502JB).

Additionally, Buffett possessed a Pilatus PC-12 (N920JB), known for its versatility and ability to operate on short runways or unpaved strips. His collection also included multiple Cessna 208 Caravans (N208JB), some of which were configured as float planes.

One of his most historically significant planes was a Grumman Goose (N48550), first flown in 1939 and donated to the USS Alabama Battleship Foundation in 2023. Other Grumman aircraft in his collection included an Albatross (N928J) and a Widgeon (N1471N).

Buffett's fleet also featured a Boeing E-75 Stearman (N43320), another donation to the USS Alabama Battleship Foundation. This aircraft was initially developed as a military trainer but later converted for civilian uses post-World War II.
