A passenger reviewing the Delta One Lounge at New York JFK shared her experience both on the ground and in the air, highlighting her dog's perspective as well. The dog appeared to enjoy the new business class-only space, including dining from the table.

The vest worn by the dog and its freedom from a carrier suggest it is being transported as an emotional support animal, though it is not a service dog. Airlines have tightened regulations under DOT rules regarding animals on planes, primarily through paperwork and requiring passengers to self-certify their service animals. However, some passengers still exploit loopholes to bring various kinds of animals into the cabin without paying pet fees or keeping them in carriers.

During the journey, the dog utilized Delta’s fully flat seat.

The review of the Delta One lounge at New York JFK was positive from both the passenger's and dog's perspectives. However, concerns arise about other passengers' experiences. The lounge's busy environment might mean some do not notice, but bringing a dog into a sit-down dining area and allowing it to eat from plates used by other customers could be seen as inappropriate.

The incident raises questions about whether this behavior is more acceptable than other questionable actions observed at Delta’s New York JFK Sky Club.
