An Air India passenger's refusal to consume food and beverages on a flight from Jeddah to Delhi raised suspicions among the airline crew. The man declined water when offered by a flight attendant and continued to refuse all subsequent offers of food and drink. This behavior prompted the flight attendant to notify the captain, who then alerted security agencies through Air Traffic Control.

Upon questioning, the passenger admitted to concealing gold in his rectum.
