Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) has recognized 21 jet operators for their efforts in noise reduction as part of the Van Nuys Airport Fly Friendly Program. This program encourages jet operators to avoid flights between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., an element added to the award criteria in 2021.
