American Airlines' pet policy leads to creative passenger solutions

American Airlines does not permit passengers to purchase an extra seat specifically for their pets, unlike JetBlue. However, passengers can still buy an additional seat for themselves, which some have reportedly used as a workaround.

Meanwhile, the old Etihad lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is set to be converted into a Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse. At 4,401 square feet, the lounge is relatively small and lacks scenic views.
