Plaza Premium Group (PPG), a global leader in airport hospitality services and an eight-time recipient of the “World’s Best Independent Airport Lounge” award by Skytrax, has announced plans to significantly expand its presence across the Americas. This move aligns with the Group’s broader commitment to invest $300 million globally over the next three years, focusing on sustainable solutions, advanced technologies, and enhanced customer experiences.

The expansion aims to strengthen PPG’s dedication to providing comprehensive airport services for travelers at all stages of their journey. Key aspects of this initiative include:

- **Personalized Services**: Travelers will benefit from more personalized services, increased lounge access, new flagship locations, and seamless digital solutions across Plaza Premium Lounges and ALLWAYS Meet and Assist concierge services.

- **Regional Focus**: Major efforts will be concentrated in Canada, the United States, and Brazil. Significant projects are planned for Toronto and Vancouver, along with new lounges in high-traffic U.S. cities such as Las Vegas and Washington, D.C.

- **Evolved Partnerships**: PPG will continue partnerships with Capital One and Visa to develop branded lounges offering tailored premium experiences. The company also aims to extend its award-winning experience to partners like Desjardins.

- **Smart Traveler Program**: The enhanced membership and rewards program will continue offering exclusive benefits and personalized experiences for frequent travelers.

Pascal Belanger, Senior Vice President of the Americas, leads this ambitious endeavor. “As travelers increasingly seek personalized and seamless experiences, Plaza Premium Group is harnessing technology and research to redefine airport hospitality,” said Belanger. “Our investment in cutting-edge technologies like OneTECO and advancements in robotics and AI underpins our commitment to setting new standards.”

This investment aligns with recent consumer trends indicating that 70 percent of travelers desire more lounge access, greater personalization, and integrated digital solutions. The ACI 2023 Global Traveler Survey reveals that 67% of respondents would likely use an app facilitating navigation and wayfinding.

Plaza Premium Group reaffirms its commitment to enhancing global travel experiences as it expands its footprint in the Americas. Song Hoi-see, Founder of Plaza Premium Group, states, “Since our inception, Plaza Premium Group has been driven by a singular goal: to make travel better.”

Central to their latest initiative is “Proudly Local,” which aims to transform airport lounges into destinations showcasing local cultures within each host city. Initially piloted in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Nagoya, Adelaide, Rome, and Dubai, this initiative will soon expand to North America.

“This strategic investment heralds a new era of excellence in airport innovation,” added Belanger.
