The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) and Fokker Services Group (FSG), an aerospace solutions provider, have renewed a Total Support Contract for Standard Parts & Expendables. Under this agreement, FSG will continue supporting the RNLAF by supplying standard parts and extended services for various aircraft and helicopters over the next five years.

Announced during the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 in the UK, the renewal ensures that FSG will cover over 20,000 part numbers for multiple platforms operated by the RNLAF, including AH-64 Apache, CH47 Chinook, NH90, AS532U2 Cougar, C-130 Hercules, PC-7 trainer, and MQ-9 Reaper. This support establishes FSG as the exclusive contact point for all RNLAF standard parts needs, including logistics services, forecasting, introducing approved alternative items, and consignment stock management. These services will be provided from FSG’s facilities in the Netherlands.

The original contract between RNLAF and FSG dates back to 2017. Since then, FSG has delivered more than 100,000 orders with an average on-time delivery performance of 98%. The renewal criteria included a commitment to a sustainable roadmap aligning with RNLAF’s sustainability goals.

Menzo van der Beek, CEO of FSG stated: “We’re proud to solidify our position as the partner of the RNLAF in supporting crucial assets essential to the defense and protection of the Netherlands and NATO alliance members as a whole."

Marco Verweij, Commercial Manager Defense at FSG added: “The new contract shows our commitment to being a trustworthy partner that demonstrates global excellence. We are grateful for the trust placed in FSG to provide essential parts that contribute to the availability and mission success of the RNLAF fleet."

Colonel Robin Schoonen, Commander of Logistics Centre Woensdrecht at RNLAF explained: “The RNLAF is looking forward to continuing to work with a known and reliable partner. The contract relieves us so that our people can focus more on current global situations and our primary task. We need to be ready to provide airpower to defend our own territory and that of our Allies."

Mark van Someren, Supply Chain Manager at RNLAF concluded: “The total support contract for Standard Parts & Expendables with FSG is a proven concept for us ensuring that our quality and reliability requirements are met. Furthermore, it is great to continue our journey with a known partner and we look forward to continuing building a productive relationship in the coming years.”
