- Transit expenses such as trains, taxicabs, rideshare services, ferries, tolls, parking, buses, and subways

- Monthly wireless telephone service charges from U.S. providers

These earnings are capped at $150,000 in combined purchases per calendar year; beyond this threshold, earnings revert to 1x points.

Additionally, cardholders earn 3X Membership Rewards points on flights and prepaid hotels booked through amextravel.com. The card carries an annual fee of $375 but offers several statement credit opportunities that can offset this cost.

Cardholders receive up to $20 in statement credits monthly for eligible U.S. purchases at FedEx, Grubhub, and Office Supply Stores—totaling potential annual savings of up to $240 upon enrollment. Furthermore, they can obtain up to a $12.95 plus applicable taxes monthly statement credit for one Walmart+ membership fee when paid with the Business Gold Card.

These benefits aim to provide significant value beyond the annual fee through targeted rewards categories tailored to match spending habits.
