An Air Canada flight from Casablanca to Montreal was cancelled on Friday following an incident involving a flight attendant and a passenger who requested a blanket. The cabin for Flight 73 was reportedly cold, prompting the passenger's request. Video footage shows the purser responding aggressively.

The crewmember can be heard yelling in both French and English, stating, “You will behave or we will get off!” and “I don’t want no bullying against my crew.” She also directed her anger at passengers recording the incident. When the passenger asked to speak with the captain, the flight attendant refused.

The confrontation continued as the plane taxied out, leading to local police being called to remove the passenger. Other passengers disembarked in solidarity.

The flight was subsequently cancelled, and a new flight AC2073 was operated on Saturday with a different crew. In response to the incident, Air Canada stated:

"We are taking this incident very seriously. It is under review, and we will take appropriate action. We apologize to our customers and deeply regret that their experience today fell far short of what they have come to expect when flying with Air Canada."

Paddle Your Own Kanoo suggests there may be more context to this story. However, Air Canada has issued an apology to passengers and is compensating them for their inconvenience.
