Starting August 1, 2024, Air France, in collaboration with Mediawan, will offer a new episode of the French animated series "Miraculous™" exclusively on its long-haul flights. This initiative aims to provide young travelers and their parents with unique in-flight entertainment.

The episode, titled "Ladybug & Cat Noir: Welcome to Paris," follows the series' protagonists as they navigate an adventure through Paris. The plot involves thwarting the plans of the antagonist Papillon, who seeks to make the city's monuments disappear. The Airbus A350, Air France's flagship aircraft for long-haul flights, is featured prominently in this special episode.

This thirteen-minute episode will be available in both French and English on Air France's 36,000 screens for one year and will soon be accessible online.

Air France offers over 1,500 hours of in-flight entertainment across all its long-haul cabins. This includes content tailored for younger passengers such as Disney titles and various French productions featuring edutainment content and cartoons. Additional offerings include popular games like Angry Birds Monopoly and Tetris.

"Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir," created by Thomas Astruc, Nathanaël Bronn, and Jeremy Zag and produced by Miraculous Corp—a joint venture between ZAG and Mediawan—has garnered global acclaim since its debut in 2015. The series has been broadcasted in 150 territories and won several awards including the Kidscreen Award for Best Animated Series in 2023. Its film adaptation directed by Jeremy Zag achieved significant success both at the box office and on streaming platforms like Netflix.

Mediawan was established in late 2015 by Pierre-Antoine Capton, Xavier Niel, and Matthieu Pigasse. It is a leading independent European studio involved in producing various types of audiovisual content including drama, unscripted shows, documentaries, cinema productions, and animated originals.

Miraculous Corp aims to expand the global reach of the "Miraculous" franchise through creative projects and commercial initiatives under the leadership of Andy Yeatman.
