A 6-year-old girl named Khaleesi, after a character from the television series "Game of Thrones," was denied a passport by UK authorities. The initial claim for denial was based on trademark issues.

In another incident, United Airlines is facing a lawsuit after a passenger was seriously injured by swallowing a piece of wire hidden in his inflight meal. A comment on the matter suggested that passengers might be better off bringing their own food when flying with United.
