A Titanium member reported being told they were "upgraded" to a premium room, only to find an additional charge of $100 per day. The guest expressed frustration, stating, “I had to look foolish in front of my date swapping back” to the original room. While complimentary upgrades are a common perk for loyalty members, this situation involved an upsell disguised as an upgrade.
The Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) new flight path at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) has sparked debate. The new route tracks more closely over the Potomac River, which some residents prefer over the previous path that generated numerous noise complaints. One household in Foxhall submitted 7,000 complaints in one year under the old path. However, critics argue that a high volume of complaints does not necessarily indicate widespread dissatisfaction.
