The Atlanta airport, known for its dual roles of serving political interests and supporting Delta Air Lines, recently faced criticism for a social media post following a tragic incident. On Tuesday, two Delta employees were killed in a tire explosion at an airport maintenance hangar. The airport expressed condolences on Twitter using Delta's corporate slogan "keep climbing."

The tweet sparked controversy, with some questioning the appropriateness of the message. "When I first saw this I wondered whether someone on the airport’s social media team was being sarcastic – pointing out how the airport acts as an arm of Delta even in tragedy? But the post remains up a day later," one observer noted.

Critics compared the situation to other corporations using their slogans inappropriately during tragedies. One user commented, "Think if McDonald's released a statement about employee deaths and said 'I'm loving it.' That's what you did, Atlanta Airport. WTF?"
