A guest at a Hyatt all-inclusive resort reportedly drank excessively, leading to the entire party being cut off from alcohol for the day. One member of the affected group shared their experience, stating, "A person in our party got a bit too drunk and was escorted to her room. We were informed after that it meant that we were all cut off from alcohol for that entire day." The individual expressed frustration over the policy, particularly since their trip was part of a wedding package.

The Andaz West Hollywood, formerly known as the Continental Hyatt House in 1966 and nicknamed 'Riot House' in the 1970s, has a history of unruly behavior by guests. Notable incidents include Jim Morrison being evicted in 1966 and Led Zeppelin causing property damage in 1972. Reflecting on this history, one might question whether Hyatt should adopt a more lenient approach today.

In other news, Lufthansa is adding free alcoholic beverages to its short-haul economy class in an effort to boost customer satisfaction.
