Friday night’s Delta flight 112 from Boston to Rome turned back over the Atlantic two hours after departure, diverting to New York, when a passenger reportedly had “severe bouts of diarrhea all over” their seat.

This incident on board an Airbus A330 was deemed a “medical issue.” Biohazards have been a common theme recently with Delta experiencing several similar incidents.

A Delta Air Lines flight from Atlanta to Barcelona also had to return to Atlanta after a passenger had diarrhea "all the way through the plane." The flight was two hours into its journey when the pilots informed air traffic controllers they were turning back. The airline confirmed the situation on social media.

Passengers on this particular Rome flight clearly expressed frustration, suggesting that perhaps it’s time for Delta to reconsider its ‘Keep Climbing’ slogan.
