The 2023 North American Airfield Equipment Condition and Powerplant Report provides insight into the current state-of-good-repair for airside equipment currently in operation. The data was collected through an industry survey targeting both commercial and general aviation airport leaders during the first quarter of 2023. This effort was led by Airport Business staff, who also conducted follow-up interviews with some survey participants.

Key findings from the report include details on the age of equipment, fleet fuel makeup, electrification readiness and goals, snow removal equipment data, and alternative fuel preferences among airport leaders.

The information is available for free download.
