The shift from written travel reports to video reviews has brought a new level of relatability and humor to the genre. A recent example is a review of Qatar Airways' QSuites, which captures the experience of a first-time business class flyer with both wit and charm.

In the video, the reviewer shares his candid observations about the luxury service. "I searched the seat configuration online to see which was closest to the kitchen because that’s the one I want," he remarked. His humorous take on in-flight amenities continued with, "As soon as I sat down, one of the flight attendants came over and said do I want some of his warm nuts? And I’m thinking what kind of freaky airline is this?"

The reviewer also commented on the menu offerings: "The way I studied this menu like it was the Harvard entry exam. There were words I’d never seen before… normally they just ask me chicken or beef." When he asked for recommendations on main courses, he received an unexpected response: "I asked which mains were better. She said ‘you can have both.’ Oh, I’m sorry, excuse my poverty."

This light-hearted take on flying business class for the first time resonated with many viewers. The review was shared by Twitter user Aji Bussu Onye Mpiawa azụ (@AfamDeluxo), who captioned it as “Qatar Airline Business Class review by Jabz is so hilarious.”

Reflecting on their own experiences, many travelers recall their first long-haul business class flights fondly. One such memory involves a journey from Los Angeles to Sydney on United Airlines, where lunch included an almond-dusted shrimp appetizer followed by steak and cheesecake.
