Chase has expanded its lounge offerings for Sapphire Reserve cardholders, now including access to select Air Canada Maple Leaf lounges worldwide. This development adds nearly two dozen lounges to the card's existing network, which already includes Priority Pass Select membership and Chase Sapphire lounges.

Chase states: "Relax at select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés in the U.S., Canada and Europe. To enter at participating lounges, present your Sapphire Reserve Card and an eligible departing same-day ticket or boarding pass for a flight operated by Air Canada or a Star Alliance member airline." No enrollment is required for this new benefit.

According to Air Canada, Sapphire Reserve cardholders can access 20 Maple Leaf lounges across 16 airports globally. These include major hubs such as Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), LaGuardia Airport (LGA), San Francisco International Airport (SFO), Frankfurt Airport (FRA), Heathrow Airport (LHR), Calgary International Airport (YYC), and Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ).

It is important to note that these lounges are not part of Priority Pass, and entry depends on capacity. The standard guest policy allowing two free guests does not apply; only cardholders or authorized users receive complimentary access. Guests may accompany a cardholder for a fee of $59 in the U.S., 59 Canadian dollars in Canada, 59 euros in the European Union, or 59 pounds in the United Kingdom.

This addition aims to enhance the travel experience for cardholders flying with Air Canada or Star Alliance airlines, offering more options amid current lounge overcrowding issues.
