Alaska Airlines recently completed its annual Week of CARE, during which over 500 employees participated in more than 30 volunteer events across the country. The company logged 1,200 hours of service aimed at supporting communities in need.

The efforts included preparing 3,700 meals at Lifelong in Seattle and packing 15,522 meals at Feed My Starving Children in Phoenix. Additionally, volunteers sorted 7,000 pounds of food at Food Lifeline to assist those facing food insecurity.

The initiative extended to other areas as well. In Alaska, volunteers created 200 welcome kits and donated 150 pounds of food and drinks for the Fisher House. In Idaho, they packed weekend meal bags with handwritten cards for youth at the Ada County Boys and Girls Club.
