Alaska Airlines has unveiled a new Seattle Kraken-themed aircraft, marking the airline's continued support for the NHL team. The aircraft features the team's logo and the coordinates of Climate Pledge Arena, where the Kraken play their home games. The tail number #N933AK pays tribute to 93.3 KJR FM, known as Seattle's Sports Leader and Home of the Kraken.

Jeff Webster, Chief Commercial Officer of the Seattle Kraken, expressed gratitude for Alaska Airlines' ongoing partnership: “We are incredibly grateful to our partner, Alaska Airlines, for their continued support of both our team and our fans. Unveiling this new design is the perfect way to celebrate the start of our fourth season.”

Eric Edge, Managing Director of Marketing and Advertising at Alaska Airlines, shared his enthusiasm: “As the official airline of the Seattle Kraken, we’re thrilled to reveal a new design to celebrate our hometown’s NHL team. Whether at 30,000 feet or on the ice, we’ll be cheering the Kraken on this season!”

In addition to unveiling this themed aircraft that will operate across its network during the 2024-2026 seasons, Alaska Airlines announced promotional offers tied to game performances. Fans can enjoy a 32% discount on flights to mystery destinations when the Kraken score five goals in a home game.

Throughout this hockey season, passengers flying out from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport or Paine Field wearing a Seattle Kraken jersey will receive priority boarding.

Alaska Airlines will also participate in several promotional events related to upcoming games such as being a presenting partner for giveaways including Magnetic Schedule giveaway on October 17 and Buoy Bobblehead on November 27.
