Mauricio Parise, Vice President - Brand Experience Design | Delta Air Lines

Delta Air Lines has opened its Delta One Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), offering a premium lounge experience for West Coast travelers. Located adjacent to the Delta Sky Club in Terminal 3, this new facility is designed to provide an exclusive and high-touch ground experience.

Claude Roussel, Vice President of Delta Sky Clubs and Lounge Experience, stated, "From JFK to LAX, the opening of this lounge allows us to offer our customers a premium experience from coast to coast." He added that the menu is crafted for discerning guests with individualized hospitality unique to Delta One Lounges.

The lounge's design draws inspiration from Los Angeles' natural and architectural beauty. It features sunset hues, leather and walnut accents, and a Verde Emerald quartzite bar. The ceiling over the Icon Bar reflects the Pacific Ocean's majesty. Lighting throughout nods to old Hollywood glamour, while details like fluted walnut paneling echo LA's architectural history.

A landscaped terrace with seating for 26 includes Missoni furnishings. The library lounge area showcases items by the Italian fashion house as well. Artwork in the lounge represents artists from various countries including the United States, Philippines, South Africa, Haiti, and Japan.

Dining options include service-led dining from every seat with a menu featuring dishes such as crispy duck tacos and pan-roasted salmon. A year-round sushi bar exclusive to LAX is also available. Guests can enjoy location-themed Bento boxes or sample signature cocktails represented by airport codes.

The wellness room offers eight private relaxation pods equipped with zero-gravity chairs and full-body massage chairs. Specialty lighting mimics light colors affecting circadian rhythms to help acclimate travelers to their destination time zones.

Delta continues its strong presence at LAX as the airport’s leading global carrier with nearly 160 peak-day departures to almost 60 destinations. New flight offerings include daily flights returning for ski season starting December 21st and new Saturday service to Sun Valley alongside existing routes.

As a Founding Partner of Team USA, Delta aims to strengthen its ties within the LA community over the next four years while connecting Angelenos globally.
