Delta Air Lines is set to resume its nonstop service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) in June 2025. The route will be operated using the Airbus A350, which features modern onboard amenities.

Joe Esposito, Senior Vice President of Network Planning at Delta, stated, "As the leading global airline at LAX, Delta remains committed to providing our Los Angeles customers with seamless access to destinations worldwide." He further noted that their investment in the new Delta One Lounge and airport improvements underscores their commitment to enhancing customer experience from arrival at the airport to reaching their final destination.

The reintroduction of this service will increase Delta's operations between the U.S. and China to 17 weekly flights, adding to existing routes from Detroit and Seattle.
