Jens Bischof Chairman of the Board of Management and Chief Executive Officer | Eurowings

Eurowings, the German airline, is expanding its direct flight services to Dubai. Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings, announced a significant increase in capacity for the Winter 2024/25 schedule. "Dubai, with its futuristic skyline, is not only a vibrant business hub but also a magnet for more and more leisure travelers. With our value offer, you can experience the exciting mix of winter sun, desert sands, and skyscrapers without a layover and at very attractive prices," stated Bischof during an event with tourism experts in the Emirate.

Starting October 27, 2024, Eurowings will offer daily nonstop flights from Berlin to Dubai. The Stuttgart-Dubai route will see up to four weekly flights. Additionally, Cologne/Bonn will join as a third departure point in Germany with three weekly nonstop flights to Dubai using Airbus A320neo aircraft.

The service offers competitive pricing starting at 139.99 euros for one-way tickets. For BIZ Class passengers, additional amenities include pillows, padded headrests, and complimentary food and beverages throughout the flight. All passengers flying to Dubai will have access to device holders on board the A320neo aircraft.

This expansion into longer medium-haul routes is partly replacing some domestic German routes that are becoming less profitable due to increasing taxes and fees at German airports. As part of this shift, the longstanding service between Hamburg and Cologne/Bonn will be discontinued.
