Air New Zealand is offering Flybuys members a chance to convert their points into Airpoints Dollars. To participate, members need to submit a screenshot of their Flybuys point balance and join the Airpoints program for free between September 16 and September 30.

Kate O'Brien, General Manager Loyalty at Air New Zealand, stated that the opportunity is particularly favorable for those who have not yet joined the Airpoints program. "With 4.6 million members already embracing all Airpoints has to offer, we're excited to connect with those Flybuys members who haven't joined the Airpoints programme," she said. She also mentioned that many Flybuys members are already part of Airpoints, which increases the chances of winning.

The benefits of joining Airpoints extend beyond travel. Members can use their points on over 10,000 products ranging from tech gadgets to homeware items. "Whether it's flights, fridges, or fashion, there's something for every points earner," O'Brien added.

The competition runs from September 16 to September 30, 2024. Winners will receive an amount in Airpoints Dollars equivalent to their submitted Flybuys balance from a total prize pool of 50,000 Airpoints Dollars.
