dnata secures multi-year ground handling contract with easyJet at Zurich Airport

dnata, a global provider of air and travel services, has secured a multi-year ground handling contract with easyJet at Zurich Airport in Switzerland. This agreement will enable dnata to offer comprehensive passenger, ramp, and baggage services to the low-cost airline. The dnata team is expected to enhance the travel experience for approximately 640,000 passengers on easyJet's 3,800 annual flights.

This new contract strengthens the partnership between dnata and easyJet in Switzerland. Since 2022, dnata has been providing de-icing services for easyJet at Geneva Airport.

Operating at Zurich and Geneva airports, dnata offers various ground handling and cargo services to over 30 airlines through its workforce of 1,100 employees. In the financial year 2023-24, dnata assisted eight million passengers and handled over 90,000 tonnes of cargo across both locations.

Founded in 1959, dnata operates in more than 30 countries on six continents. During the financial year 2023-24, its teams managed over 778,000 aircraft turns and moved over 2.9 million tonnes of cargo while providing travel services with a total transaction value of US$ 2.4 billion.
