Delta Air Lines has announced a $1 million donation to aid relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. The storms, which struck within two weeks of each other, have impacted hundreds of thousands of people.

This recent contribution adds to the $1 million grant already provided by The Delta Air Lines Foundation as part of its partnership with the American Red Cross's Annual Disaster Giving Program. This support assists the Red Cross in responding to various disasters throughout the year, including hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, and home fires.

Customers are encouraged to contribute to relief efforts through a donation platform established in collaboration with the Red Cross. These donations will be directed toward immediate relief needs.

"Serving people, whether they are our customers or our neighbors in the communities where we live, work and serve, is part of Delta's DNA," stated Tad Hutcheson, Managing Director – Community Engagement. "The destruction across the southeast from Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton is massive, and we want to do more to help those in need. The most effective way we can help is by investing in organizations involved in disaster relief year-round."

Delta has maintained a long-standing partnership with the American Red Cross since 1941. It holds the title of being the largest corporate blood drive sponsor in the United States for seven consecutive years.
