Xiamen Airlines set to host IATA's 2025 World Safety & Operations Conference

From October 1 to 3, 2024, Xie Bing, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Xiamen Airlines, led a team to attend the International Air Transport Association (IATA) World Safety & Operations Conference in Morocco. The event attracted over 800 experts and scholars from various sectors including government departments, airlines, industry organizations, and aviation suppliers globally.

At the closing ceremony of the conference, Xie Bing delivered a keynote speech announcing that Xiamen Airlines would host the next conference in 2025. He extended an invitation to industry peers to visit Xiamen for the event. During his speech, an official video promoting the upcoming conference was unveiled, highlighting both Xiamen Airlines and its home city.

Throughout the conference, Xie Bing engaged with several leaders in aviation safety. These included Nick Careen from IATA, Yannick Malinge from Air Passenger Aviation Safety, and Dominique Mineo from CEFA. Their discussions covered topics such as hosting arrangements for the next conference and issues related to air passenger fleet operations and safety management.
