For the tenth year in a row, dnata has been recognized as the 'Ground Handler of the Year' at the 2024 Air Cargo News Awards. The award ceremony took place at a gala event in London, highlighting dnata's ongoing success in the air cargo industry.

Alex Doisneau, Managing Director of dnata UK Airport Operations, accepted the award on behalf of dnata globally. He stated, “We are incredibly proud to have won this prestigious, global award for the 10th successive year. This recognition reflects our consistent focus on delivering world-class quality and safety, and our ongoing investment in innovation and sustainability. Thank you to our team for their hard work and our customers for their continued trust in our services.”

Over the past year, dnata has made significant investments in technology across its global network. In the UAE, it integrated autonomous drones into operations. In Singapore, AI-powered solutions were implemented. Additionally, dnata continued to roll out One Cargo, an advanced cargo management system, worldwide to improve its cargo handling capabilities. Construction is also ongoing for dnata Cargo City Amsterdam in The Netherlands.

Efforts to enhance environmental efficiency have been another focus for dnata. Through investments in renewable energy and electric equipment along with process improvements, the company reduced carbon intensity by over 8% per aircraft turnaround during the recently concluded financial year.

Founded in 1959, dnata is a leading provider of air and travel services globally. Operating in more than 30 countries across six continents, it offers ground handling, cargo services, travel assistance, catering, and retail services. During the financial year 2023-24, dnata managed over 778,000 aircraft turns and moved over 2.9 million tonnes of cargo while providing meals to millions.
