Kimpton Hotels is once again offering its guests a chance to unlock special perks with a secret password. From November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, guests can say "It's giving" during their stay at Kimpton properties to receive complimentary items. These could include botanical cocktails, in-room movies, or room upgrades.

A spokesperson for Kimpton revealed that specific hotels have unique offerings. At the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel in Portland, guests will receive Pendleton Woolen Mills socks. Meanwhile, those staying at Kimpton Canary will be treated to a vintage-style mug complete with hot chocolate fixings and Cutler's Artisan Spirits.

In previous years, prizes from using the secret password have included free parking, branded coffee mugs, drinks at the bar, doubled "Raid the Bar" credits, room upgrades, dining credits worth $30, breakfast vouchers, hot chocolate kits, and IHG One Rewards points.

The offer is available to all guests; however, IHG One Rewards Platinum and Diamond Elite members can also utilize the Raid the Bar benefit. This provides them with a $10 and $20 credit respectively for use at Kimpton's minibar or hotel bar.

For those looking to gain IHG status quickly while earning points for future stays at Kimpton hotels, applying for the IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card might be beneficial. The card offers 140,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 within the first three months of account opening and grants automatic Platinum Elite status among other benefits.

All guests are encouraged to use the secret password "It's giving" during their check-in process to discover what special treats they may receive.
