Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer stated, “We are pleased to bring our reimagined retail store concept to Africa for the first time, elevating our customer experience in Kenya... We can’t wait to inspire our customers to discover more with Emirates when they visit the store.”

The Emirates World store is designed as an open-plan environment covering over 330 square meters. It features experiences like a full-size showcase of the iconic Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge and smart technology such as a 'selfie mirror.' Six customer service counters staffed by expert consultants provide assistance with travel itineraries and general inquiries. Kiosks offer self-service options for quicker transactions.

Emirates is nearing its 30th anniversary in Nairobi since its first flight in October 1995. Over five million passengers have traveled between Dubai and Kenya via double daily flights since then.

In 2023, an interline partnership was established between Emirates and Kenya Airways allowing connectivity to an additional 28 points in Africa through Nairobi. More than 12,000 passengers have utilized this seamless travel option over the past year.

Beyond aviation operations, Emirates supports three Kenyan humanitarian organizations focused on child welfare through the Emirates Airline Foundation: The Little Prince Nursery and Primary School's meal program; Alfajiri Street Kids' art therapy programs; and scholarships at Starehe Boys’ Centre for underprivileged boys.
