Boeing and Avia Solutions Group have announced a significant order agreement for 40 Boeing 737-8 aircraft, with an option to purchase an additional 40 in the future. This marks the first order between the two companies. Avia Solutions Group, known as the world's largest ACMI provider, operates through 11 air operator certificates across more than 60 countries.

Gediminas Ziemelis, Chairman of Avia Solutions Group, highlighted the strategic importance of this order. "As the world's largest ACMI provider, carrying over 35 million passengers annually for our clients, we have committed to a strategic approach of expanding our capacity to meet our customers' seasonal needs, and our first order with Boeing is a key pillar of this," he stated.

The Boeing 737-8 is designed for versatility on short- and medium-haul routes. Brad McMullen, Boeing's senior vice president of Commercial Sales and Marketing, commented on the collaboration: "ACMI providers such as Avia Solutions Group offer important, flexible capacity to meet the dynamic demand in our industry, and we are honored Avia has selected Boeing airplanes to help meet that demand from its customers."
