The United States continues to lead in Boeing 737 flights, accounting for a significant portion of global operations. According to Cirium Diio data, the US handles one-third of all scheduled passenger services using the aircraft type, with this figure rising to 43% for the Boeing 737 Max. The average stage length for these flights is approximately 816 nautical miles (1,511 km). However, some routes extend much further.

In November, two routes share the title of longest Boeing 737 flights from the US by block time: Brasilia-Orlando and Keflavik-Orlando. Both routes have a maximum block time of 8 hours and 20 minutes. Gol operates daily services on its Brasilia-Orlando route using a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The flight departs from Brasilia at 09:40 and arrives in Orlando at 16:00 local time. The return journey leaves Orlando at 20:55 and lands back in South America at 07:05 the following day.

Icelandair's Keflavik-Orlando service also uses a Boeing 737 MAX 8 and operates three to four times weekly, supplemented by twice-weekly flights on a larger aircraft model.

While no US carrier appears among these longest flights by block time, United Airlines' Chicago O'Hare-Anchorage route ranks first among domestic services with a maximum block time of seven hours and two minutes aboard its Boeing 737 MAX 8s. This service resumes on November 23rd with daily operations.

Copa Airlines has been flying between Panama City and San Francisco since 2015. Initially using the Boeing 737-800, Copa transitioned to the more efficient Boeing 737 MAX series starting in part from late-2018 but was interrupted due to grounding issues until fully resuming in mid-2021 with ten weekly flights.

Flights from Panama City depart at varying times throughout the week, while departures from San Francisco occur both daily and thrice weekly during different slots. The airline uses a slightly premium configuration on its MAX fleet for this route.

Passenger transfers through Panama City are frequent, with over 110,000 passengers connecting onto other Copa flights within the past year alone. Popular destinations include Lima, San Jose (Costa Rica), Medellín, Bogotá, São Paulo Guarulhos, Cartagena, Rio de Janeiro Galeão, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, and Santiago de Chile.
