Embraer, a major aircraft manufacturer founded in Brazil in 1969, is well-known for its regional and private aviation aircraft. The company has introduced the second generation of its E-Jets following the success of its initial series. In the United States, nearly 130,000 flights using Embraer aircraft are scheduled this month, according to aviation analytics firm Cirium. Seventeen airlines market these flights, but they are operated by 20 different carriers.

SkyWest Airlines stands out as the largest operator of Embraer aircraft globally, with 36,907 flights scheduled in November, providing 2,729,590 seats. "The busiest route for SkyWest is from Seattle Tacoma International Airport (SEA) to Spokane International Airport (GEG)," which is marketed by Alaska and Delta.

Republic Airways operates over 200 Embraer planes with 29,375 flights scheduled this month. "Republic’s busiest route is from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York," primarily serving American and Delta.

Envoy Air exclusively operates for American Airlines and has planned 24,087 flights in November. Its most active route is between Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) and Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF).

Piedmont Airlines follows with 10,221 flights in November. "Piedmont’s busiest route is from CLT to Charlottesville-Albemarle Airport (CHO)," utilizing ERJ-145s.

Horizon Air rounds out the top five operators with 7,276 Embraer flights this month. "Horizon’s busiest route is between two Alaska hubs in Seattle and Portland."

Jazz Aviation is noted as the largest foreign operator of Embraer flights into the US. It has scheduled 2,191 flights from Canada to various US cities including New York and Chicago.

Porter Airlines operates some of the longest Embraer routes into the US with its E195-E2 jets. The longest flight spans from Toronto to San Francisco at 2,260 miles.

Overall, these statistics highlight the significant role that Embraer's aircraft play in regional aviation within and into the United States.
